How to purchase images on this site

All images on this website are copyrighted.
Any copying, usage and/or distribution is strictly prohibited.

Searching

> We have endeavored to create an easy to search database for our growing collection of images. As you can see there are numerous categories to browse. You can also enter keywords in the search box to narrow your choices. We have embedded keywords into all the image collections to respond to more selected searches. The scope of your search results will be determined by your selection of keywords.

> Quick Search - By default the system uses "Match at least one keyword" for the quick search function. If you input "beautiful sunset" (without the quotes) into the quick search field, then the search function will return results for any media that contain either "beautiful" OR "sunset" in its properties.

The system supports the "AND" and NOT" operands in the quick search function by the use of the plus sign (+) and minus sign (-) respectively in front of the keywords.

• If you input "beautiful +sunset" (without the quotes) into the search field, the system will only return results for any media that contain both keywords "beautiful" AND "sunset" in its properties.

• If you input "beautiful "sunset" (without the quotes) into the search field, the system will return results for any media that contain the keyword "beautiful", but this media can't contain the keyword "sunset" in its properties.

• Note: There must not any spaces between the second keyword and the input operands (+), (-) keywords.

> Advanced Search  (Pro. & Ent. versions) - The advanced search function doesn"t use the same algorithms as above. It offers options allowing you to choose which operand you want to use for your searches.

There are three options available.

• Match at least one keyword
  The system will return results for any media that contain either one of the input keywords in its properties.

• Match all keywords
  The system will only return results for any media that contain all input keywords in its properties.

• Match exact phrase
  The system will only return results for any media that contains the exact input keyword phrase in its properties.
   

The Lightbox

> The Lightbox is YOUR collection of images. You may add up to 30 images to your lightbox. If you wish to purchase an image that is in your lightbox, click on the thumbnail to view the enlarged image. Select the items that you want to purchase and click on the "add to cart" button.
 

Shopping Cart

> The shopping cart displays your order details, if you wish to delete an image from your order before proceeding to checkout, simply hit the remove link on the right side.
 

Checking Out

> You will need to login to checkout your order. If you are new to the site please complete the registration form to create a username and password. This information is stored, so that you can return to the site to make future purchases and so that we can review your orders.

Discount Codes

If you have a discount code, it can be entered and applied on the last checkout screen. Enter the code in the box provided then click the green arrow to submit. Your purchase total will be updated with the discounted amount.

> LICENSE FEES

Digital images: By purchasing a digital image (file) you are buying the right to use a specific digital image according to the term of use in the license agreement. One is not purchasing the copyright of the specific image. Copyright of the image remains with Stewart D Halperin. The license fee is delineated in the price chart on the website.

> LICENSE AGREEMENT

PERMITTED USAGE

This license agreement does permit the following uses of the digital files. You may use the image in your personal, professional, internal, editorial and client projects.

This includes printed materials, newsletters, brochures, reports, sales tools advertising, promotional campaigns, editorial works including greeting cards, calendars, book presentations on line, web-site and multimedia design projects.

The license agreement grants the user a personal, non transferable, non-exclusive license to copy the "content" (digital file).

The digital files can be used on one domain name and one domain name only, although as many times within that specific domain name as desired.

CREDIT:

Images used editorially should bear a credit line as image by "Stewart Halperin Photography"

RESTRICTED USAGE

This license agreement does not permit the following uses of the digital images.

1.   transfer or assign any rights to the digital medium or the images
2.   alter or merge, in whole or in part, the digital medium or any images so as to create a derivative work
3.   use the images in any way that might be deemed defamatory, libelous, pornographic or obscene.
4.   Archive, republish or transmit any image on any database without Stewart Halperin’s written consent
5.   Sublicense, re-license, rent or lease any of the images
6.   Unless otherwise stated in the invoice, all licenses on all digital images from Stewart Halperin Photography are granted for a one time use and for a term of one (1) year from the date the applicable invoice is issued
Customized rights and pricing: Please contact the studio directly for larger resolution files of specific images, as well as information on detailed licensing rights to fit your special needs.

> CANCELLATION POLICY:

Once a image is downloaded there are no refunds or cancellations. You authorize Stewart Halperin Photography to charge you for the selections of image(s) and accept the terms stated within this License Agreement upon ordering the Image(s).

> Condition of Digital Files:

If you choose to receive a digital image it shall be assumed by us that the image or images we supply or are downloaded by the user has been received in good useable condition unless you notify us within four business days of receipt of the image files.

> OWNERSHIP OF THIS WEBSITE AND IMAGES;

THIS WEBSITE IS OWNED AND OPERATED BY STEWART D HALPERIN PHOTOGRAPHY. ALL ELEMENTS OF THE SITE, INCLUDING THE CONTENT AND THE GENERAL DESIGN ARE PROTECTED BY COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARK, AND INTERNATIONAL LAWS RELATING TO INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. THE COPYRIGHTS TO ALL IMAGES ON THIS SITE ARE OWNED BY STEWART D HALPERIN. THE IMAGES MAY ONLY BE USED AS OUTLINES UNDER "PERMITTED USAGE".
